How to Play Razz in Poker

Razz is a poker game played between 2 to 8 players using a standard 52-card deck. The first two cards are dealt face down, while three more cards are dealt face up. The last player to receive live cards wins the hand. In case of a showdown, the last player with live cards will win. There is no qualifying rule for the lowest hand in Razz.

To play Razz, you must place your bets in predetermined increments. For instance, you must place your first bet of $2 and then make two more bets in the same amount. You will also be required to raise your bets during the next three betting rounds. Each of these rounds will have a maximum of four raises allowed. It is possible to make a raise as high as $12, but a minimum of $4 is required for each bet. After each round of betting, the player to the left of the dealer button will be dealt a hand. Depending on the game’s rules, the player may have to choose to either table his or her hand or bring-in or fold.
